Silla de rosas - Rosa's chair

¡Por fin hoy puedo mostrarles esta silla que terminé hace ya varias semanas! Me tomó bastante trabajo y tiempo hacerla; creo que el cartonaje no es lo mío :D.

At last I can show this chair today I finished several weeks ago! It took me some work and time to do it, I think the cartonnage is not my thing :D

La silla de rosas la he hecho gracias a los gráficos y el estupendo tutorial de Lia.

I've made the rose's chair, thanks to the charts and great tutorial from Lia.

El bordado lo hice con un DMC rosado del que ahora no recuerdo el número y con unos hilos que Graciela me obsequió. Ella misma tiñe los hilos de acuerdo a este tutorial que está en su blog.

I did the embroidery with a pink DMC which I can not remember the number and with a couple of threads that Graciela gave me. She dyed the threads according to this tutorial on her blog.

La silla-caja tiene sus imperfecciones, pero aún así le gustó a mi mamá, ya que la silla ha sido un pequeño regalo para ella.

The chair-box has its flaws, but my mother liked anyways, as the chair has been a small gift for her.

Las suculentas querían ser las protagonistas de las fotos :)))

Un pequeño calendario para este año que comenzó hace unos días...
A small calendar for this year that began a few days ago ...

¡Me gustó desde el momento en que lo ví en el blog de Gwen!... y enseguida fui al sitio PCB, donde encontrarán las instrucciones y el gráfico.
I liked it from the moment I saw it on Gwen's blog!... and then I went to the PCB site, where you will find the instructions and chart.

No es exactamente como el que Gwen nos muestra; no puedo darme el lujo de usar un gran trozo de lino para forrar toda la base, así que sólo hice el pequeño bordado en la tela necesaria y forré la base de cartón con otra tela que coordinara.
Is not exactly like the one Gwen show us; I can not afford to use a large piece of linen to cover the entire base, so, I did the small embroidery on the needed counted fabric and I've covered the cardboard base with other coordinated fabric.

Tiene un pequeño bolsito para poner lo que quieras o lo que quepa en el; en mi caso será canela, romero, lavanda o alguna otra cosa que se me cruce por delante :D
It has a small pouch where you can put whatever you want or what fits in it, in mine this will be cinnamon, rosemary, lavender or anything else that crosses in front of my eyes :D

En fin, no es perfecto, porque forrar cartón aún no se me da muy bien, pero espero mejorar en futuros proyectos ;)
Well, it is not perfect, because I do not do cardboard lining very well, but I hope to improve in future projects ;)
