Desde Argentina - From Argentina

Some days ago I received from Graciela these lovely gifts that she has done with fondness for me.

Needless to say that everything has been of my pleasure ... the pretty fabrics, threads and all the embellishments for future projects... and what can I say about the round embroidery pouch and the little bag with my initial made from the tutorial of plume the lin... let's take a closer look...

This one is the bag done from the tutorial of the blog "Plume de lin" ... I am delighted with the crochet details it has and the embroidered tag to which I already have put a floss-ring!

The round pouch has a pincushion-threads organizer that can be remove from the embroidery-pouch thanks to a clasp that it has on the bottom ;)

I also received a sachet with a beautiful embroidery and a pincushion  with the design "Rose Garden" from Blackbird Designs, embroidered with an antique thread "Cartier Bresson".

I just want to  express from the bottom of my heart my gratitude and fondness to my dear friend Graciela, who knows how much I estimate her friendship♥♥♥

¡Hasta pronto y muchas gracias. Espero que pasen una estupenda semana!!! ♥ :)

Pochette ABCD'AIR

This is the third part of the embroidery that will form our pouch. Still we have to do the cover and the embroideries for the accessories; sew the bag will be the last task and it is foreseen to do in the summer ... we have a bit less to do!!! ;)

My first thimblecase

I wanted to do one since the day I saw the tutorial that Rosi and Graciela did, but the little experience I had sewing in those days made me forget about the project. Some days ago I found Jad Sampler's tutorial and in this occasion I decided to do it immediately, for the delicate thimble that Laura gave me a few months ago.

I have created the embroidery in accordance to the available space, I think it doesn't look so bad.

The preparation and joint of all the pieces was a challenge to my patience, but  the result and satisfaction are great ;)

The trimming I put is a gift from my dear friend Varla. ... I love this trimming, it match perfectly!

I am planing to do more, with other embroidery, other colors, other fabrics ... the possibilities are infinite and now that I have  learned from my mistakes, it surely will be easier and fast to do .. or I hope so :D.

Recycling with tequila taste

The embroidery of this round little box is a free from Virginie Goussé of C Mon Monde. This design was only available in April for those who requested it to Virginie.

The design is very simple and beautiful, without a doubt I will embroider it in other colors ;)

Surely you will be wondering why the title of this post... well, you´ll see it later, first we are going to admire a bit more the embroidery :D...

And here is the recycling part!!!... The box that I used for the finished that you saw before, was the packing of a bottle of tequila (it is the biggest round box in the photo). The small box was the packing of tequila filled chocolates, this one I haven't finished yet but don't worry, I will do something about it ;)... After cutting both boxes to the desired size, I covered the big box with fabric and put a pretty lace, placed the embroidery to the lid and that's it, very easy as you can see.

And since we are speaking about tequila, I would like to show you the glass container where I keep the thread clippings. It used to be a bottle of tequila and as you can see, I put perfume samples so the threads gets perfumed and smells really nice. I have already filled one of my pincushions with them, in this way I recycle the linen and embroidery threads clippings so they don't end in the garbage ;).

From now on I know already what to do with the boxes of tequila filled chocolates that I love so much... once I have eaten the chocolates, of course :p...

Thanks for your friendship and comments that encourage me to continue doing these things that I enjoy so much. I wish you all a really nice week!!! :)♥

Mi nuevo estuche de bordado... My new embroidery case

In the photos it looks nice, in person you can see a couple of mistakes that will serve me to improve the next embroidery case that I will make;).

As a rule I like to do the finish of every embroidery that I make as soon as I have finished it. This little embroidery was one of few exceptions, when I finished it, I didn't know what to do with it  since it was very small to do a pincushion and very big to do a fob. With sorrow I put it in my little box of unfinished works in which it remained several months. I have to say, my little box of unfinished works now only has 5 unfinished embroideries.

The chart is a freebie from the italian blog "Non solo carta".

The tutorial to make the embroidery case is in the blog "NANOUPALOU". For both of them, the chart and the tutorial, you will have to search a bit through both blogs. It is worth the visit to see all the beautiful creations of these talented girls!

I hope you liked the case... maybe it inspire you to do one of your unfinished embroideries;). Thanks for being here with your comments and visits. Take care & have a great weekend!

SAL Sampler Aux Bleuets...

Another small advance of this sal. We still have three parts to embroider and it will be ready to frame.

I did a small change; instead of the church from the original design, I made a little house.
